When we talk about the Renaissance masters, names such as da Vinci, Michaelangelo, and Raphael are bandied about. But in the Dallas building scene, we’d wager that the master of the Italian Renaissance is Tony Visconti of Bella Custom Homes. The evidence is on view May 4 during the Dallas Builders Association Parade of Homes, where you can tour this Italian Renaissance masterpiece that showcases the incredible design and construction you get in a Bella Custom Homes build.

“Our buyers are very sophisticated and they appreciate the authentic architecture and recognize the craftsmanship we put into our homes,” Visconti, a Daltxrealestate.com Approved Builder, told us. “While we are well- known for the classic European designs, we can design any style of home and we approach each home with the same attention to detail whether it is 5,000 square feet or 20,000 square feet.”

And while we’ve been in love with this stunning Italian Renaissance design on Deloache, we’re also thrilled to see what the six other Dallas Builders Association members on Saturday’s tour bring to the table.

Front-Cropped-BCH-129-copy-1024x749“Each home in this scattered-site, self-guided tour will be fully decorated and landscaped, featuring the very finest in innovative home building and custom craftsmanship,” said Dallas Builders Association President Matt Robinson of Walton Global Holdings. “Visitors will be able to tour these luxury homes, experiencing state-of-the-art technology, energy efficiency, and architectural design.”

The parade benefits Operation FINALLY HOME, an organization that provides custom, mortgage-free homes to combat-wounded U.S. military veterans and their families. The Dallas Builders Association has just completed its seventh Operation FINALLY HOME project.

The Parade of Homes is on May 4 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 for ages 12 and older and are available at ParadeofHomesDallas.com. Tour maps will be emailed to ticket holders 48 hours prior to the event and will be issued wristbands that must be worn while visiting the homes.

We want to give you a little sneak peek of what you can find inside the Bella Custom Home on Deloache, a 14,000-square-foot Italian Renaissance sitting on a 1.67-acre lavishly landscaped lot in Old Preston Hollow (pictured above).

The floor plan features seven bedrooms, eight full baths and five half baths, and seven living areas. The chef’s kitchen with marble countertops includes SubZero/Wolf appliances and an adjacent catering kitchen. The home also features an exercise room with steam shower, game room with full bar, media room and a basement wine cellar with a tasting room. Multiple outdoor living areas feature an oversized pool and spa.

Don’t miss the incredible staircase reminiscent of something you’d find in a Venetian palace, the groin-vaulted hallways, the luxurious plaster walls, and the epic kitchen. You’ll never want to leave the master suite (but the tour ends at 5 p.m. so make the most of it!).
