This Little Richardson House Has A Killer Location And It’s Under $400K

  • A Richardson House With a Great Location

A few years ago, the owner of this Richardson house was killing time in the neighborhood. He wasn’t the owner of it yet, but it caught his eye. Such a cute little house, a great price, and a great location. He bought it and leased it to one tenant. One single tenant that loved it so much she’s been there for 10 years. Well, now it’s time for a new chapter, and 605 Devonshire Drive is ready for the next owner to fall in love on a whim.

Though it doesn’t have to be because there’s seriously so much to love about this little Richardson house.

A Richardson House With a Great Location

I’m not kidding when I say it is one of the best locations in Richardson. We have good stuff, y’all.

From this Richardson house, you can walk to Alamo Drafthouse, Haystack Burgers, and, as my friend Esther says, you can even hit that TJMaxx when you run out of coffee beans. That’s pretty much a life hack right there. Live on novelty-shaped pasta, strain it with a recently purchased colander, and then add some holiday candy for dessert. TJMaxx has it all.

Across Belt Line, there’s a Monkey King Noodle Company, Communion Co-Working Space and Coffee Shop, Lizzie Bee’s (the cutest little flower and gift shop), and Lockwood Distillery, which is known for oh, just about everything they do. The food is tops, the drinks are extra drinky … I’m kidding. They make their own whiskey and hibiscus vodka.

What’s that now? Yes, readers, yes. It’s like the ultimate summer drink and guess where there’s a really awesome place to enjoy it? The back porch of this Richardson house. It’s a full wood deck and a pretty impressive backyard too. Pop a sun sail over top and enjoy our endless summer evenings.

Refreshed, Remodeled, And Ready

Inside, this house was a three-bedroom but has been reimagined into a two-bedroom with a larger living and dining area. The kitchen has been refreshed, the bathrooms have been remodeled, and there’s still room to make it your own. Quick call-out on those bathrooms — for the era, they’re definitely on the bigger side.

The hardwoods in this house are original and in fantastic shape. The tile in the kitchen and bathrooms are nice and neutral so if you wanted to head in a more modern direction, you go for it.

One of the best features that we haven’t even touched on? The price. This 1,329-square-foot home is listed considerably under $400,000.

Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Anne Westphal has 605 Devonshire Drive listed for $365,000.
