It’s shiny, it’s new and it’s contemporary. And it’s $619,000. It has six bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and approximately 3,264 square feet. The house is huge, the lot is huge, and according to Dave Perry-Miller’s Suzie Morris, it’s so spacious and private, it feels like you’re on a vacation.
And seriously, look at those pictures. It’s like crazy big. Like add a landing strip for your own private mini plane. Or better yet, just an Olympic-size lap pool. (Although you won’t really need one because there’s something going in over in that area that’s even better.
Morris said her two favorite rooms in this house are the kitchen (made for entertaining) and the primary bathroom with all the natural light, separate shower and soaking tub. And let’s talk about that tub. It’s round. What?! In the primary bathroom, they also used the black metal edging alongside the tile. And, yes, that is a minor detail, but it’s one I’m calling out because I dig it, it’s different and not everyone is doing it … yet.
Morris’ personal wild card thing she loves? The sinks. As in each one is unique, well-placed and they’re some big boys.
There’s also a balcony instead of a porch at the front of the house, herringbone hardwoods on the interior, matte black hardware, oversized doors, soaring ceilings and modern light fixtures. The floors are just dark enough to provide the perfect contrast to the walls. Three cheers for a laundry room. You know we can’t get enough.
Hey, you know what else you might want to flip your stuff over? The location. It’s over near Trinity Groves and guess what’s up over there. In case you haven’t heardm they’re putting in a lagoon. “A lagoon?” A lagoon!! It’ll have a beach entry, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and water yoga. All in the middle of a mega apartment development. But the lagoon will be open to all.
