According to the Dallas Morning News,
Tonya Couch sold her $343,400 Burleson home on Aug. 10, (2015) county deed records show. She and Ethan had been renting a house in Fort Worth since August 2014, according to her landlord, James Walker.
This is the house Tonya sold on August 10 at 1719 Retta Road in Burleson: a six acre, 3964 square foot estate in a “park-like” setting. It was not $343,000 (but that was the last tax value). Originally listed for $549,000 on 11/23/2014, the home went under contract last May and sold in August for $480,000. Fred and Tonya Couch bought the home back in 2000. And this is where their son apparently partied, complete with red Feng Sui door.
June 15, 2013, Couch had been partying at his parent’s second home in Burleson and got behind the wheel with seven people piled into his Ford pickup, authorities said. He swerved off the road, hitting and killing 24-year-old Breanna Mitchell, whose SUV had broken down, and three others who had stopped to help: youth pastor Brian Jennings 41, and Hollie Boyles, 52, and her daughter, Shelby Boyles, 21.
The ranch-style home was a modest 3964 square feet for Tonya and Ethan, but it was loaded:
reclaimed hardwood floors (plus some granite and tile), wet bar, granite counters, custom Knotty Alder cabinets, stainless appliances, a huge master bath with a sauna. My favorite part of the master is the giant footed soaking tub that is parked in front of a series of mirrors. Tonya must have loved that. There was a pool out back plus a playground and fire pit for Ethan. Oh yes, lest I forget, there was also a “man’s room” of 6250 square feet, a giant shop where one could tinker away. That shop is 21 feet tall! As the real estate description said, the house was “Enjoyable for family, entertaining and livestock.” Indeed. Not sure if the horses went with the property.

Also of note: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico may not be the only place Tonya Couch travels. She apparently has an address at 1990 McClendon Avenue in Atlanta.
