So, who owns the best house in the National Football Conference East, the four-team division that the Dallas Cowboys play in?

As the NFL season nears its midseason stride, we must see where the NFC QB1s call home.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Prescott lives in a 9,016-square-foot mansion in Prosper, which makes sense because it’s an easy commute to The Star, the Cowboys’ practice facility in Frisco.

Zillow estimates the home value at $4.933 million. The home sits on 7.19 acres and features an indoor sports simulator theater, a game room, and expansive outdoor areas that include a pool.

It’s the backyard that’s super cool.

Prescott added a 55-yard artificial turf practice field on the property with D4K logos (something of a portmanteau of his name and jersey number) and the word Faith spelled in the end zone. A silhouette of his late mother, Peggy, makes up the A in Faith.

The field was built by the same company the Cowboys used to install their fields at AT&T Stadium and The Star. The field turned out to be an ideal place for Prescott to work out with teammates during the pandemic.

“That thing is pretty incredible,” former Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin told ESPN. “You see turf out there and it’s cool. We get to go out there and play in his backyard.”

Oh, and the house: It has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. According to property data published by Zillow, he has an $83 monthly HOA bill. With a $40 million annual salary, he can swing that.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Hurts, who’s led the undefeated Eagles to first place in the division, is the kind of young man who sounds too good to be true. The Houston native has model looks. He’s on a budget phone plan. He saved $60K of his contract for his sister’s tuition and another $60K went toward charity.

Hurts also gave a Nottingham, Pa., family whose oldest child has cancer, $30K for a down payment on a new house.

While his peers are buying sports cars and mansions, he cooks at home.

“I didn’t buy a house or anything like that when I got drafted because it was just me,” Hurts told GQ. “I didn’t need this big place just for myself. I just got me a little apartment. You know, something smooth that’ll last me for the time being.”

In the context of starting NFL quarterbacks, he makes a pittance — roughly $1 million a year (his peers are making as much as $30 million to $45 million).

His contract will soon be restructured. Obviously, he’ll buy a good house then. He deserves it.

Daniel Jones, New York Giants

The 25-year-old quarterback might be looking for another place to live. Right now, he lives in a Hoboken, N.J. neighborhood, “befitting someone who makes $6 million per year,” Deadspin reported. He has not disclosed where he lives, but with no contract extension, he could be looking for another place to call home.

Taylor Heinicke, Washington Commanders

Not much is known about Heinicke’s residence. What is known is that Heinicke was living on his sister’s couch when Washington gave him a call last season. “Yes, I can confirm that,” his mother, Diane Dodsworth, told NBC. “Taking classes and just, you know, playing video games, and he got the lucky call. So, we’re real happy for him.” He signed a two-year, $8.75 million contract last year, so he’ll probably be able to afford a nice place to brag about.
