Find out more about Shelton and Texas Triad Homes as the Daltxrealestate.com staff highlights some of the spectacular members of Dallas Builders Association right here, asking these consummate professionals all about their business as a way to brag on the many quality, trustworthy builders in the North Texas area that can count themselves among their peers in the Dallas Builders Association.

What location or area do you primarily build in? What about the location makes it especially attractive?

Richardson/Far North Dallas. People love the charm of these old neighborhoods. It is a more affordable area being north of 635, the schools are terrific, and the homes hold their value well.

What’s your go-to architectural style? Traditional? Contemporary? Old World? Modern?

We tend to work with clients that use modern, modern farmhouse, and traditional elements in their homes.

How does your company provide value to your clients?

We love to walk side by side with our clients and be very involved in each step of the process.

We enjoy picking clients up from their homes and taking them to specialty supply stores to see all the possibilities that are out there. It is always fun to see their eyes opened up with the endless possibilities from kitchen countertops to backsplashes to floor coverings.

Another aspect that makes Texas Triad Homes unique is the owner, Michael Shelton, is also a licensed Realtor. He can help you with any aspect of the real estate process. Buying, selling, or remodeling — you do not need to look anywhere else.

Considering the competition, how does your brand distinguish itself?

We pride ourselves on efficiency.

Recently, a client talked about how fast we worked compared to other projects in the neighborhood that drag on and on. The customer service that our clients receive also sets us above our competitors.

What does being a member of the Dallas Builders Association do for you and your business?

The DBA offers a wide variety of promulgated forms and training, and they give credibility to its members.

What is the biggest challenge you face in the current market? What are you doing to overcome it?

The biggest challenge Texas Triad Homes faces in the current market, as a small but growing organization, is making sure we have the best systems in place to serve our current and future clients.
