2021 Was a Year so Big For Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s Top Producers it Took Two Parties to Celebrate

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty celebrated a record year for its 2021 Top Producers.

“If the real estate industry ever gets its full-length feature film, it will be a thriller,” says Robbie Briggs, “and I know about 400 stars who deserve top billing.”

The CEO of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is talking about the agents who work for the brokerage founded by his father in 1960. Today, in one of the hottest, most challenging markets in the brokerage’s 62-year history, those agents continue to zig, zag, adapt and excel. In fact, for 2021, they surpassed the brokerage’s own projection of total sales volume and came in at a blockbuster $3 billion.

In two concurrent parties on the night of February 17 — one in the company’s chic Turtle Creek office in Dallas and one at its modern loft-style office in Fort Worth — the brokerage shone some much-deserved light on the top-producing agents who had a 2021 they will never forget.

The brokerage’s top team is once again the Faisal Halum Group, with Faisal Halum, Bill Churchill, Jeanne Milligan, and Noora Bass. Its top individual is Tyler Thomas, who is in its Ranch and Land Division. Tyler is also the firm’s overall top producer, companywide. Their colleagues across the brokerage’s offices had a golden year, too:

In the Fort Worth office: Top team: The Spann Group (Jeremy Spann, Laura Spann, Michelle Stum, James Pederson, Carol Van Hook). Top individual: Adrianne Holland.

For the Lakewood office: Top team: Sayre Hettrick Group (Kevin Sayre, Karen Hettrick, George Hettrick). Top individual: Becky Oliver.

At the North office, in Plano: Top team: Winchester Steitle Group (Patti Winchester, Maureen Steitle, Amy Miller, Cami Rodriguez). Top individual: Linda Baker.

For the Southlake office: Top team: Nancy Dennis Team (Nancy Dennis, Jana Fisher). Top individual: Kim Bedwell.

In the Turtle Creek office, in Dallas: Top team: Faisal Halum Group (Faisal Halum, Bill Churchill, Jeanne Milligan, Noora Bass.) Top individual: Pogir.

In the Ranch and Land division: Top team: Burgher Ray Ranch Group (David Burgher, Harlan Ray, Clay Bebee, Barbara Kurilecz, Connor Hunt, Davis Walker). Top individual: Tyler Thomas.

There are many more awards — including for philanthropy, mentorship, marketing and more — at briggsfreeman.com/top.

“Behind this stellar cast of agents, too,” says Briggs, “is a crew of superstar assistants, staffers, and executives — and the very best clients in the world.”

It was quite a year for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. Just some of the superlatives? It was named the Dallas Business Journal’s No. 5 largest and fastest-growing private company in Dallas-Fort Worth — and it is the only luxury brokerage on that list. Brokerage president Russ Anderson was named one of D CEO’s most powerful business leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth; and the brokerage became part of the $26 billion Peerage Realty Partners portfolio in October 2021.

It doesn’t stop there: Per BrokerMetrics, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty has the highest average sales price in Highland Park and University Park for the period 2019-2021; the highest average sales price in Collin County for the third year in a row; the highest average sales price in Southlake in 2021; the highest average sales price in Colleyville in 2021; and the highest average sales price in Frisco for the period 2019-2021. It is the No. 1 brokerage in market share in Fort Worth for homes between $3 and $5 million and its Lakewood office is the No. 1 office in transaction volume in Munger Place and Swiss Avenue for homes $500,000 and up.
