This is the potential domicile of empty nesters, a bachelor in search of simplicity and luxury, or a second shelter for an out-of-towner. The one full bath is attached to the bedroom and features biscuit-colored marble and white tile.
In many ways, the house recalls the Roman concept of the villa suburbana — a pleasure house for daytime enjoyment, often with no bedrooms.
Then there’s that fantastic peninsula view.
The property includes a dock with jet ski and boat lifts. The listing states that the 1,200 square feet of attic space has been prepared for finish out. There is a 1,200-square-foot foundation with plumbing and electric stubbed in for future construction of a guest house and, hey, the owner will throw in the Airstream (glimpsed from the kitchen window), boat, and jet-ski.
