Pressure Washing
What a difference a pressure treatment can make

At the ripe age of 13, Fort Worth’s Alexander Steed started a pressure-washing company to help earn extra cash. But no one is more surprised than Alexander himself that Steed Pressuring Washing has grown into a legitimate job four years later.

How it All Began

A few years ago, Alexander and his father were discussing possible summer jobs. Like many youngsters, he wanted to earn a little spending money but wasn’t yet at the age he could be hired for other than lawn maintenance jobs.

Little did this 13-year-old entrepreneur know that he was about to build a business.

One day while at a hardware store, his father suggested pressure washing as a business. After learning more about it, and with encouragement not only from his parents but youth minister who also started a pressure washing business when he was younger, Alexander decided to dip his toe into the world of water.

With a loan from his parents, Alexander was able to purchase basic pressure washing equipment and started marketing to neighbors and friends. With hard work, the results were immediate.

Now 17-years-old, Alexander Steed has an array of professional equipment.

Water Makes The Difference

Job request after job request poured in after homeowners saw the amazing benefits and changes pressure washing had on the exterior of homes, driveways, fences, sidewalks, and parking lots. Using special equipment and solvents, Alexander could take an older home with years and years of dirt and grime on it into a sparkling abode.

Just look at what pressure washing can do for your older driveway.

Now a young man of 17 years old, Alexander has revived many homes and commercial buildings. Currently, he has two large commercial machines and a trailer to haul along his equipment.

What started out as an idea to make a little money will not only help him as he prepares for college but has the potential to become so much more.

As a buyer, which house would you want to purchase?

In This Real Estate Market

Why have we introduced daltxrealestate.com and Tarrant County Tuesday readers to Mr. Steed? In my almost 20 years as a real estate sales professional, I’ve learned that you only have one opportunity to make a lasting impression.

To keep homes looking just right for buyers, a good pressure washing can make all the difference. It highlights how clean and pretty and move-in ready your home is. With a simple pressure washing of the exterior and driveway, you will be amazed at what a difference water can make.

While you may not be calling Alexander Steed to enhance your listing’s curb appeal (although we’re pretty sure he’d appreciate it!) a good pressure washing can completely change the look of a home.
