You can’t always find a Dallas rental that is impeccably updated, zoned for great schools, family-friendly, and budget-friendly. But for this week’s Rental of the Week, we feel pretty confident we’ve found that sparkly unicorn.
This three-bedroom, two bath home in Northwest Dallas has 1,904 square feet of living space, and was remodeled in 2017.
Located at 3106 Woodwind Lane, just off of Royal Lane and Webb Chapel, the home has a great floorplan for entertaining, with a good-sized backyard that boasts a covered patio and mature trees, which means plenty of cooler spots for summer hangouts.
Inside, the remodel provided the home with new windows, restored hardwood floors, and updated and upgraded bathrooms. The kitchen was also remodeled, with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and high-end finishes.
The vintage cottage is zoned for Dallas ISD’s Caillet Elementary, which earned a solid A from the Texas Education Agency, meeting state standards and three distinctions last year.
Caillet is in the W.T. White High School feeder pattern. In 2017, White received seven distinctions from the TEA, making it the only comprehensive high school in the district to win all seven distinctions. In 2018 it received four. White also has a collegiate academy that allows participating students to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associates degree.
