Move On Up To A Deluxe Highland Park Apartment

Apartment life is underrated.

There’s a four-bedroom, five-bathroom beauty in Highland Park just waiting for a tenant. We can’t figure out why in some places it’s listed as an apartment, but call it what you want.

It covers 6,812 square feet, with a living room, dining area, fireplace, private pool, and two-car garage. Again in my book, that’s a house. And with a rental price tag of $21,000 per month, that’s a luxury home. (Or $27,500 per month if you’d like your luxury home furnished.)

The 2014 home was custom built by Emerald Custom Homes. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a dishwasher, and a disposal.

Need more places to cook? You’re in luck. There’s an outdoor kitchen next to the pool in your fenced backyard with mature shade trees. Pets are allowed and the backyard area just begs for having friends over as soon as the weather warms up. Additional parking is available in the driveway adjacent to the garage.

Pool maintenance, weekly lawn care, and hedging are included in the monthly rent.

Rental Me This

This “apartment” comes with a washer and dryer. Tile is featured in the bathrooms, and wood flooring blankets the rest of the home. Central air conditioning, central heat, and ceiling fans will keep the temperature just right all year long.

The Highland Park abode is less than a five-minute drive to US Highway 75, which means you’re right in the middle of all the action with restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

New spots – open for less than a month – include Enrique Tomas tapas bar and Oishii SMU Blvd. The area also includes Ellen’s brunch place, Ari District Thai Bistro, and CAVA Mediterranean. The area is dripping in culture and unique cuisine.

City Life

We’ve long been a fan of what Cornell Avenue has to offer. The beautiful, contemporary homes and architectural gems in the area are reminiscent of Norman Rockwell paintings and definitely worthy of a Sunday afternoon drive.

The Highland Park reputation is one of quality and wealth – and it’s well-established.

Centrally located four miles north of downtown Dallas, Highland Park is reportedly the fourth most affluent area of Texas, based on income, with a median home value of $1.5 million.

The median income for a family was more than $200,000, according to U.S. Census data – and that was 20 years ago.

Suffice it to say, this home is in an elite neighborhood with access to all Dallas has to offer.
