We love Jan Showers. I mean L-O-V-E. This woman has some serious style, with an unparalleled ability to create glamorous interiors anywhere. She combines color and shapes in a way that makes her one of the most sought-after interior designers.

Showers, who published her “Glamorous Retreats” this year, sat down with Mecox for a little Q&A. Jump for Showers’ predictions for next year!

Any favorite design trends right now? I am excited that the “undecorated look” is becoming more prevalent.

Any design trends for 2015 that you are excited about?  I am so inspired by Italian designs from the late 1940’s through the ’70’s.  I never met a Gio Ponti chair I didn’t love!
