It’s hard to talk about the Ebby Halliday Companies and not emphasize that for the longest time, a sense of place has pervaded the brand. And you can’t talk about the headquarters of the Ebby brand without mentioning its most iconic location at Preston Road and Northwest Highway — the “Little White House.”

But as of today, the company is taking up residence at a new spot that will move the company as North Texas knows it into the forefront.

“This is absolutely the best North Texas location and environment to serve our valued clients and agents,” said Chris Kelly, President and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies of the brand’s new headquarters inside the Legacy Business Park of Plano.

“We are so proud of having served North Texas in good times and in challenging times,” he went on, “and we look forward to all that the future holds for this great company, its agents, and employees.”

I guess it was time for a change now that the brand has settled in after being purchased by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices close to three years ago, with Kelly taking the helm shortly after. The new headquarters for Ebby is a state-of-the-art facility that will take the brand into the future — and in style.

“This beautiful new office is built for the future and now reflects the current culture and mission of our organization,” Kelly said in a press release. “Situated just off the Dallas North and Sam Rayburn Tollways, it is centrally located to our 31 offices across North Texas.”

Vice President of Finance and Operations, Anthony Jackson, oversaw the project from inception to completion.

“The Ebby Halliday Companies new headquarters was designed from the ground up to support our agents and clients,” Jackson said. “We now have all of our central operations under one roof, including brokerage, mortgage, insurance, and title services. In addition, we have a beautiful new onsite training center.”

Dallas-based Conceptual Interiors formulated the unique combination of modern style and warmth featured in Ebby’s new corporate office, with approximately 17,000 square feet of space to meet the needs of today’s Ebby employees. That’s roughly half of the size of the brand’s previous digs, but considering how much of real estate has shifted to virtual, it’s no surprise to see the change.

However, the space definitely feels vibrant, with glass walls and a beautiful 30-foot mural of the company’s iconic namesake, Ebby Halliday Acers — a fitting 75th-anniversary gift for the brand and an inspiring addition to this gorgeous office.

“As employees and sales associates celebrate a milestone anniversary of one of our region’s most-storied businesses, we are very proud to have played a part in ensuring they are poised for the next 75 years.” Conceptual Interiors Vice President of Business Development Aaron Wallace said. “I love the way this new space turned out and I believe Ebby would be very proud.”

The Ebby Halliday Companies’ new corporate office is located at 5560 Tennyson Parkway, Suite 100.
