Don’t you just love when newer neighborhoods have those events where they get a handful of builders to each build a dream home to showcase then they have a big event where you can tour the homes?
Where I grew up it was called the Parade of Homes. Tons of people pouring into amazing homes where the builders did their best to one-up the competition with the latest-and-greatest designs and gadgets and finishes.
A Kaleidoscope of Dream Homes
In the Dallas-Fort Worth area one such even is called the Kaleidoscope of Dream Homes. Every year a new locale for this unique home showcase is selected. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend attending. Certainly you’ll leave the event wondering “what in the world must it be like to live in one of these?” as the homes literally lack for no amenity.
Might As Well Dream Big
The home at 4708 Santa Cova Court, located in the gated neighborhood of Montserrat, was once featured in Fort Worth Magazine’s Kaleidoscope of Dream Homes.
If you can think of it, it’s probably already in this home of 8,523 square feet. On top of having five bedrooms and six-and-one-half bathrooms and all that typical stuff — the home has a billiard room, movie theater, trophy room, library, wine cellar, private office, exercise room, and on and on and…
Why would you ever need to leave your home if you lived here? I didn’t notice a helicopter pad for quick commutes to the store, but I’m sure there is plenty of room to build one on the one-acre homesite.
