  • Alex Perry: At The Top of His Game
  • Looking Forward to Another Record Year in 2024

Alex Perry ended the year once again as the No. 1 luxury agent in Dallas, closing more than $300 million in sales for the third year in a row.

For Perry, 2023 also was the second year in which he ranked as the No. 1 luxury agent in Dallas and across Texas, according to RealTrends in partnership with The Wall Street Journal. RealTrends names the top real estate sales professionals in the country each spring. Perry ranks 33rd in the country.

Alex Perry: At The Top of His Game

As the top-selling agent at Allie Beth Allman & Associates, a boutique brokerage that sells the most luxury homes in Dallas, Perry has closed more than $1 billion in sales since 2020.

“It’s just absolutely amazing that Alex Perry individually has sold over $300 million for three years,” said Allie Beth Allman & Associates President and CEO Keith Conlon. “Although the past year had its challenges, he again performed at the top of his game and continued to get the deals done.”

Looking back over the year, Perry said the headlines that predicted a real estate slump never played out in the Dallas region. Interest rates might have risen, but the local economy has remained strong and continues to attract new residents who are searching for homes.

He writes a monthly column for the Los Angeles Business Journal to keep the funnel of business coming from California and to inform the L.A. market of real estate opportunities in Dallas.

“The fact is, the people moving here need houses and there is not enough inventory,” Perry explained. “My performance in 2023 represents optimism for real estate this year and the trust my clients continue to have in me.

“I’m grateful that clients entrust me with this big of a decision in their life. It starts with that trust, and if I’m good at my job, I can offer a competitive advantage in the market.”

Looking Forward to Another Record Year in 2024

He noted that DFW is expected to be one of the top real estate markets in the country in 2024, according to a National Association of Realtors forecast, with only Austin ranking ahead of the area in terms of pent-up housing demand.

By mid-December, everyone was gearing up for moves in the new year, and it’s what Perry said is the new norm. That all bodes well for 2024, he said.

“Every year, I start with positive energy and know it’s going to be my best year yet,” he said. “I believe in the market, and I believe that we have tremendous growth ahead in Dallas. That good energy is infectious. You have to bring it to the table for your clients and your team to close the deal.”
