One of the most highly anticipated home tours in Dallas, the AIA Dallas Tour of Homes boasts a curated collection of modern homes selected by architects, and it’s back for year lucky 13. This time, though, the two-day tour will highlight both newly built and renovated homes and includes a VIP ticket option that gets you into the Premier Party home during select hours, a gorgeous modern from M. Gooden Design, as well as the Nov. 2-3 tour.

For those who want to go all out and attend the Premiere Party, too, that’s Wednesday, Oct. 30 and features passed hors d’ouvres, open bar, and meet-and-greets with the architects of homes on tour, which include A.Gruppo Architects, Eckxstudio for Modern Architecture, M. Gooden Design, Maestri Studio, Marek Architecture, Morrison Dilworth + Walls, NIMMO, and SHM Architects.

“This year’s homes are especially diverse, from size and style to age, location, and home type,” said Chris Anderson, AIA, Designer, Laura Juarez Baggett Studio, and 2019 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes co-chair. “Each of these homes is responsive to the unique design challenges posed by the landscape and owners’ lifestyles.”

The Oct. 30 Premiere Party will be held at this M. Gooden Design home. VIP ticket buyers can see it on the weekend of the tour.

There are seven homes total on this year’s tour, and none of them are to be missed. And they are all over Dallas, too, with properties in Preston Hollow, Knox-Henderson, Lakewood, Lochwood, and Urban Reserve in Lake Highlands.

Starting October 21, 2019, addresses for the homes will be available on www.hometourdallas.com and the AIA Dallas Tour of Homes app downloadable on iTunes. Tickets can be purchased online at hometourdallas.com for $30. They may also be purchased during the tour at any of the homes for $35 weekend of; and $10 for individual homes. VIP tickets can be purchased for an additional $20.

The 2019 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes is presented by Porcelanosa. Proceeds from the tour benefit AIA Dallas, the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, which aims to advance architecture and design.
