An affordable, updated, three-bedroom, two-bathroom house on one of the largest lots in the neighborhood? That’s what Dave Perry-Miller’s Leonore Owsley has listed over in Garland. She pointed out that the neighborhood is friendly, walkable and close enough to 635 to make commuting a breeze.

It has killer curb appeal and the current owners have done pretty much everything. If you go to the wayback photos you can see just how much of everything they did.

They added cedar trim around the windows and doors. Not only is it the perfect tone for the brick, it also makes the fresh, clean garage doors pop. Even the red they added to the edge of the front porch is perfect. It helps blend it all together.

Inside, there are hardwoods throughout all main living areas and bedrooms. Obviously, the current owners are creative people because this home is far from cookie cutter. It’s cool, a little eclectic and works. Like the simple white kitchen with industrial pipes forming the shelves.

It also looks like they extended the kitchen and took over the utility room for the refrigerator to add more space in a smaller kitchen. SMART. The neutral countertop and cabinet combo lets the light fixtures do their thing. They’re unexpected and seriously, THANK YOU. Because if we never see another knock off Sputnik or Sputnik-like fixture again, it’ll be too soon. Especially if it’s brass. And that might be an unpopular opinion, but OVER IT. Also unpopular? I don’t like Ritz crackers so there.

I’m not 100% on board with that kitchen tile, but I’m sure they had their reasons so we’re just going to go ahead and move on. Plus you can always toss down a flatweave rug. Bonus points if it’s washable … like Ruggable, our new sponsor. I’m kidding. They’re not our sponsor. They’re too busy blowing up Instagram. (Seriously, though. Advertise with us, Ruggable!)

The secondary bathroom looks like it’s mostly original and if so it’s in crazy-good shape. They might have enameled or coated that tile and let’s talk about how inexpensive that is. Super easy way to freshen up your sudsy space. We’re talking hundreds, not thousands. DO IT.

Out back, you really get a sense of what Owsley was saying about one of the largest lots. That yard is HUGE. There’s a patio, room for a playground, grill, possible pizza oven, firepit, and more. Plus, some vintage breeze blocks were thrown in for good measure.

If you’re interested in 2110 Lynbrook Lane, make your move because there’s no way it will last. Owsley has it listed at $220,000.
