Tucked down in Lakewood, there’s a sweet spot of a neighborhood where you can hit Whole Foods, Orange Theory, and The T Shop to the East. Or you can take your little walking sticks west and wind up on Greenville for some of the most incredible restaurants (Desert Racer!!), shops, and venues.

A drawer where you can plug in your Dyson hair dryer, electric razor, straightening iron and every other conceivable get-ready device and LEAVE THEM PLUGGED IN because the drawer only powers on when it’s open.

- Energy Efficiency – If you’ve ever debated old vs. new, here’s the hugest plug for new construction. This home has a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) score of 52. It’s incredibly efficient and on average (even during basically all ten Texas summer months), your electricity bills will be $150 OR LESS. If you factor that monthly bill in as an extension of your mortgage, think of how much more house you could buy!!
- Pool Ready – The lot at 6151 is deep and because JLD routed all the major utilities around the perimeter of the yard (instead of right down the middle), you can plop a pool in tomorrow.
- That Quartz – With COVID, there’s been a serious shortage of some building materials, but not over on Richmond. The latest quartz graces every countertop.
- Modern – In the half bath downstairs, they used tile with a concrete-look and a black faucet for a thoroughly modern feel. “On the exterior, it’s pure Craftsman, but inside it’s a mix of transitional and modern.”
