This Casa Linda Estates Reinvented Ranch is one of the best I’ve seen, and it’s from one of the newest, most creative partnerships in Dallas, Imagineering Homes LLC.
Ricky Evans grew up in construction and started his company, 323 Services, 10 years ago with an emphasis on standing-seam metal roofing for commercial clients. Like almost everyone, his business was impacted by the pandemic, and while commercial contracts ebbed, residential business picked up.
He’s done pretty much everything you can do in remodeling and construction, including house flips. When he began to think about what more he could accomplish in the residential sector, he decided to check out a program offered by a real estate mentor.

At the same time, Zach Axelson, who is an engineer by profession, had flipped a house with his wife in Cleburne in 2022.
“I grew up knowing how to do a lot in construction,” Axelson said. “We just figured out the rest, and in nine months, we had a finished product. It was fun, we made a profit, so we decided to do it again. But I thought I needed some coaching to improve in all the facets of the business.”

You guessed it. Zach got involved with the same real estate mentor that Ricky was working with.
It was great the first couple of months, and then, out of the blue, there was suddenly a new coaching staff. Promises made were not kept. Both men had made a substantial investment and were at a loss when things started to go south. The two went out to dinner and realized they had a lot of the same ideas and dreams. Ricky had a deal, and Zach was able to invest. With a third investor on board, they knew they could get the project off the ground.

And, boy, did they. In a matter of months, they had this Casa Linda Estates Reinvented Ranch ready. They truly thought out every detail and then some.
The 3,360-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom home was completely redesigned. The ceiling was vaulted and beamed in the main living area and overlooks a large covered patio and one of those enormous backyards you only see in Casa Linda Estates. I have no doubt this is where a homeowner will spend the majority of their time because it’s just idyllic.
A Smart Home With Brilliant Features
But remember I mentioned detail? The bathrooms have some of the most exquisite tile and hardware I’ve seen in ages. But the pièce de résistance is in the kitchen, and I’m betting you’ve never seen any feature like this one.

Evans and Axelson created a gorgeous kitchen with a gigantic 101-by-70 Dumont quartz waterfall island. But look closely behind the stove. There is a remote-controlled backsplash. Yes, remote controlled. Check out the video.
Once you open it, you see there is a full working pantry directly behind it. I mean, is that genius or what? This will set the pace for every kitchen to come in Dallas.

The entire home is run by smart technology and includes a dual tankless water heater system, but what is going to get you as excited as the kitchen is the garage. It’s temperature controlled, you can easily fit four large vehicles in here, and there is a ton of built-in storage.
Casa Linda Estates is The Perfect Location
It’s frankly a great house in a great neighborhood. Casa Linda Estates is known for its Third Thursday happy hours, and the Casa Linda Lights and holiday party on December 2 is a long-standing tradition. This neighborhood is also only minutes from White Rock Lake, and you can be in the Dallas Arts District in 20 minutes.

Cody Cobb with Robert Elliott and Associates has this great Casa Linda Estates Reinvented Ranch at 1530 N. Buckner Blvd. listed for $1.349 million.
