Things Got Heated for Local Agents at Their Annual Top-Producers Conference

The best of Ebby Halliday Realtors, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, and Williams Trew, getting better at ‘Stronger Together’ 2023.

If you do something twice, it’s an annual event, right? Then it’s official. Real estate services behemoth HomeServices of America just wrapped up their second-annual ‘Stronger Together’ Conference – a swanky three-day soiree for top agents across the country. And it was fire. Not just because it was in Palm Desert, Calif., in August, but because of the sheer heat generated by all the shoulder-rubbing and hand-shaking happening amongst the nation’s elite real estate producers.

This year, a total of 549 agents from HomeServices of America’s approximately 40 brokerages were in attendance for the Aug. 1 conference at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Villas Resort & Spa. The Ebby Halliday Companies sent an impressive 82 agents from across the Ebby Halliday Realtors, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, and Williams Trew brands. That’s 15 percent of the total attendees, all soaking in speaker wisdom, sun, and solidarity to bring home what they learned.

Executive Vice President Chris Kelly and President/CEO Gino Blefari, of HomeServices of America, rally the troops at the annual conference.

Also in attendance were the biggest of the company’s big wigs. Here’s a total name drop. Gino Blefari, president and CEO of HomeServices of America and this year’s No. 1 rank on the Swanepoel Power 200 ranking of most influential industry leaders, was there.  As was Chris Kelly, Executive Chairman of the Ebby Halliday Companies and Executive Vice President of HomeServices of America. Kelly was No. 44 on this year’s ranking, but expect to see him leapfrogging his way to the top in coming years. Carolyn Rosson, President of EHC, and Malinda Howell, Senior Vice President of Brokerage, were also there making their agents feel special as they are known for doing.

About the event, Rosson says, “This is quickly becoming one of my favorite weeks of the year. As the name of the conference implies, we are all the better for HomeServices of America bringing some of the most-amazing real estate professionals in the business together to exchange ideas and remember why we’re here.”

Howell adds, “It’s so much fun to celebrate these hard workers who are standouts in their respective markets. Most especially our own. They are the ones that are shaping the future of the industry with their innovation and their dedication to always improving.”

Remington Reece, Creative Director for all EHC brands, went as well but for different reasons. He was an integral part of the event’s success, driving the branding and collateral of Stronger Together for months prior.

“The creative juices really flow here among our sister companies at the networking events,” Reece concludes, “and the informal collaborations, along with the coaching offered, inspire me to apply my takeaways back home for our brands. I’m quite looking forward to the next one.”
