The Lake Park neighborhood of Walsh will have a 9-acre lake

For you readers who have been avid supporters of Tarrant County Tuesday, you certainly know the development of Walsh by now.

Since the inception of the 7,200-acre community in 2017, interest, activity, and sales of new homes have continued to soar in this master-planned development just west of Fort Worth. To date, Walsh has over 1,100 residents. In total, more than 50,000 residents are anticipated!

Welcome to Lake Park

Recently the newest neighborhood of Walsh was unveiled and made ready for new home sales. Introducing Lake Park — an area of Walsh that offers 338 new homesites to the community.

Nestled among the rolling terrain of Walsh, Lake Park will offer a diversity of housing options for residents of all ages and stages of life.

Good to Have Choices

Some of the new choices in Lake Park will be townhomes and garden homes along with traditional single-family homes that the initial neighborhoods of Walsh offer.

The desire is not only to bring new options for housing to prospective residents, but also to meet a lower price point for quality homes.

Currently, garden homes and townhomes start selling in the upper $200s, a price point that is very challenging to attain just about anywhere in the D/FW Metroplex with new construction.

New Amenities

Aside from new housing options, Lake Park will offer new amenities for Walsh residents to go along with the stellar options already available.

A nine-acre lake (hence the Lake Park name) that will have an 80-foot dock for residents to enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming, live music concerts, outdoor movies, and community gatherings (when allowed).

Also included in Lake Park is a new seven-acre park with age-appropriate playground equipment, bocce ball, and gaga ball (if you don’t know, look it up) areas, a one-acre dog park along with more walking and hiking trails.

Of course residents of Lake Park will be able to enjoy the existing swimming pools, neighborhood parks, exercise gym, Makers Space, and the increasingly popular Walsh Village Market.

Walking to the Village Market in Walsh is very helpful during the 2020 Quarantine

According to sources — the Village Market has become quite popular now that adult beverages are sold just a short home-to-market walk within the community.

Even with a slower (virus-inflicted) season upon the housing industry, Walsh continues to be an attractive option for prospective buyers. Sales of new homes are steady according to the quality builders which are part of the Builders Guild in the community.

The Guild currently consists of: Britton Homes, David Weekly Homes, Drees Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Toll Brothers and Village Homes.
