Do you remember The Good Guys? It was an action comedy about two detectives stuck in small crimes, shot in Dallas. The cops’ “routine investigations” (Code 58s) often lead them into bigger cases and even bigger trouble. Starred Colin Hanks, Tom Hank’s son, as Jack Bailey, a cop who followed the rules but had enemies higher up. He was paired with Bradley Whitford, Dan Stark as an unpredictable old-school cop whose heroic rescue of the Governor’s son 30 years ago kept him employed but basically mailing it in. Dan’s drinking and antics left him in the Property Crimes Division, or vying for the attention of his ex, Assistant District Attorney Liz Traynor (Jenny Wade).
The short-lived series was cancelled chop chop, after just six months, in December, 2010 but not before it filmed some great footage of Dallas, including this house at 3914 Frontier that is a creek-view oasis.
