When you spend a lot of your time in other people’s homes like those of us in the real estate business, it’s a great insight into different personalities and all the quirky things people do at home.

Here’s a fun collection of things we see in people’s homes.

1. People have interesting pets.

One of these beauties followed the inspector around everywhere he went.

2. People leave bits of advice around.

How much spitting was there before they put the sign up?

You can’t see it, but one of the rungs reads, “Sturdy.” I sure hope so.

3. People let foundation cracks grow… and grow… and grow.

Just say no.

Crack is whack. (Seriously, though, if you have cracks like these around the exterior or interior of your home, it’s time to call a structural engineer.)
