Listen, we know that it’s all too easy to just click on that neat thing that your social media feed’s algorithm curated for you or grab something from your Amazon shopping list without having to leave the house, but local artisans and business owners are out there working hard, and they are making it as easy as they can for you to get your holiday shopping done in one-stop, pop-up shop events all over town this season. There is a WEALTH of these events happening this month, just do a quick internet search! This Saturday alone, I found more than 10 before I stopped counting and focused on these three superb Dallas Christmas markets.
Not only will you stimulate the local economy, support local businesses, and find unique and creative gifts that show you care — it’s actually healthy to get out of the house and participate in the festive atmosphere of a holiday market. This is not your crowded, stressful, long-lines-at-the-mall holiday shopping situation. Or worse, the rooting-through-disorganized-piles-of-things discount store free-for-all horrifying nightmare under fluorescent lights. This is fun, festive, small dose, curated shopping with wine and food breaks. This is MY KIND OF SHOPPING.
The Village Holiday Market
What: The Village Dallas is having a huge holiday market on The Glen Lawn at the club (formerly the Village Country Club), featuring shopping, festive treats, and good vibes as the lawn transforms into a winter wonderland, showcasing local crafts, live music, and seasonal delights. More than twenty local vendors will be onsite including shops like Megan Moses Handmade Jewelry, Swag Store, The Mahjong Chick, Barkin’ Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath, Shipra Creations, and more.

Christmas Market at Artpark
What: The already fabulously colorful Art Park at Trinity Groves will be filled with holiday cheer this Saturday as local vendors set up their wares for you to shop the day away, along with plenty of options for food and beverage breaks. This event is both family and dog-friendly, and, along with more than 25 vendor, will have lawn games and activities, permanent jewelry, and handcrafted, one-of-a-kind gifts to suit everyone on your list.

Merry Market at Cityline
What: The Boho Market presents this annual holiday pop-up market at Cityline DFW, the largest on our slate of fun shopping experiences this Saturday. More than 70 local makers and vendors will be represented, featuring handmade, designer, and vintage goods. Enjoy live music and indulge in snacks and drinks from vendors while you shop.
