What’s not to love about a holiday Sip & Shop? A little wine. A little retail therapy. It’s the quintessential win-win.
Just ask Skibell Fine Jewelry owner Lyn Skibell. “We’ve all got holiday shopping to do. But why make it stressful? A Sip & Shop is a fun, festive alternative to spending your weekends in a crowded mall.”
A self-admitted fan of both sipping and shopping, Skibell rounded up her Berkshire Court neighbors at Preston and Northwest Hwy. to help host a joint seasonal soiree Dec. 11-13. The three-day extravaganza comes complete with innovative gift ideas, exceptional prizes, and a celebratory happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12.
If luxe handbags and jewels are on your wish list, you’re in luck.
Hostess Carrie Crosland’s pop-up features a curated assortment of Skibell Fine Jewelry and Daniella Ortiz Handbags. The former includes a covet-worthy assortment of giftable pieces at every price point; the latter, Argentinian handcrafted leather, and exotic skin bags and accessories.
For top-of-the-line spa services, it doesn’t get better than Queen Bee Salon & Spa, founded in Los Angeles by owner Jodi Shays. “We now bring our famous spa services to the beautiful city of Dallas with award winning facials, spray tans, brow shaping, and more.”
Head to Form Salon for expert cuts, color and an all-natural eponymous hair care line. And rounding out the merchant mix, Manduu EMS Fitness offers an under 30-minute electrical muscle stimulation workout.
Special guest is artist, speaker, and writer CJ Miller, author of The Spiritual Artist. “My vision is to free artists from limiting beliefs and help them discover their unique Creative DNA.”
As for the aforementioned prizes, register to win by attending all five venues during the course of the event. Prizes include:
- Skibell Fine Jewelry diamond stud earrings + $250 jewelry cleaning gift certificate
- Daniella Ortiz handbag
- CJ Miller framed painting and signed copy of The Spiritual Artist
- Queen Bee facial
- $250 Form Salon gift card + holiday gift box
- 3-month Manduu Fit6 membership
A gift card is a can’t miss, always-appreciated present.

Never been to Berkshire Court? The address often goes under the radar. While officially on Preston Road, the businesses themselves are actually on Kate Street. There’s plenty of parking in the catty-corner covered garage.
