Panther Island? What is Panther Island and why is that a positive factor when talking about a townhome? I’m so glad you asked.

Panther Island is part of a $1 billion (and growing) project to reroute the Trinity River for flood control and create an urban island for housing, office spaces, retail and entertainment venues.

1015 W. Bluff St. is only a few blocks from Panther Island Pavilion – and maybe one day the entire Panther Island project

Of course, as with all government projects, the Panther Island project has had to deal with rising costs, misappropriation of funds, lackadaisical oversight, nepotism, cronyism (and other -isms), constant re-evaluation of purpose, and so much more. So who knows if the Panther Island project will ever be completed … but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing there that’s worth living near.

Panther Island Pavilion

While the entire project might not be finished in our lifetime, there are still plenty of attractions that make the area near-and-around downtown Fort Worth a destination. For starters, there is the Panther Island Pavilion.

The Panther Island Pavilion is a scenic venue on the Trinity River with the Fort Worth skyline as its backdrop. The venue has a number of open-air stages for concerts, festivals, runs, bike rides, and much more.

Patrons can dip their toes in the Trinity River and even rent watercraft to paddle or just float around the area.

As time goes by, this area will feature more and more events and continue to gain traction as one of the more hip-and-happening areas of entertainment and recreation.

Townhome Within Proximity

Just a few blocks away at 1015 W. Bluff Street is a newly listed three-story townhome with a third-floor, open-air rooftop deck where owners can soak up some rays and even listen to a Panther Island Pavilion concert.

Exterior
Enjoy the kitchen and family room with fireplace and wonderful windows

Built in 1999, the townhome has a fenced front yard, hardwood flooring, soaring ceilings, wonderful windows for natural light, and so much more. The home is 2,723 square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The open floor plan allows for the large kitchen to comfortably merge with the family room and fireplace.

Exterior
Bathroom of the primary suite

The master suite is located on the expansive third floor with direct access to the walk-out deck. Imagine enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of bubbly as you watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks from your own home!

Kason Hart of 6th Avenue Homes has listed 1015 W. Bluff St. for $415,000.
