Local real estate is always changing, and Ebby Halliday Realtors is right there, changing with it. To more efficiently and effectively serve Collin County, Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Preston Plano Parkway and Plano Willow Bend offices will merge in late 2021 to become a new Plano West office. And Hillary Hansen has been named the new Sales Leader there, succeeding longtime leader Curt Kastan, who is leaving real estate to work for his family’s business. Chris Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer, recently made the announcement.

“Hillary brings a thorough understanding of all aspects of real estate, from marketing and lead generation, to coaching agents and teams to reach their full potential,” Kelly says. “She is a widely admired industry professional, and the ideal person to follow Curt.”

Vice President of Brokerage Malinda Howell says, “We are so excited to welcome Hillary to her new role with our beautiful new Plano West office at the corner of Parker Road and the Dallas North Tollway. Day in and day out, Hillary lives out the Ebby Halliday Companies’ ‘People First’ mission.”

Hansen, who has been an Ebby agent for the past nine years, most recently served as the Associate Development Director for the brokerage’s Plano and Allen offices.

“I love the direction the Ebby Halliday Companies have taken and I’m so excited to be a part of the momentum,” she says. “I’m passionate about real estate and the opportunities we as agents have to be a constant during a time of transition in people’s lives.”

Hansen is a servant leader at heart who leads by example. She is a strong believer in the professional development and mentoring opportunities offered to agents at the Ebby Halliday Companies.

“When I work with agents, I like to cheer, to educate, and to always create leaders around me,” she says. “I get a lot of joy from watching others succeed. I’m excited about growing our new Plano West office and I am very much looking forward to working with each of our agents on their 2022 business plans and how they can achieve their goals.”

Hansen’s passion for real estate and leadership is second only to her family. She and her husband, Dan, a loan officer at Ebby’s McKinney and Denton offices, are the proud parents of a 3-year-old daughter.

In addition to her service to the real estate industry, Hillary is committed to serving the North Texas community. She is a longtime member of the Junior League of Collin County.

“I am honored and excited to take on this new leadership role,” Hansen says. “I’m looking forward to supporting the extraordinary agents who will make up our new Plano West office, as well as growing the Ebby brand across North Texas and beyond.”
