Open house: Saturday, March 17, 2-4 p.m.

Hello, lovely! We’ve got a crush on the house at 4007 Northview Ln. in Midway Hills. What’s not to love in this just-renovated property? It’s a single story sitting on a quiet street a block from the elementary school and a park near Forest Lane and Midway Road. It’s also spacious, with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, one half bath, two living areas, two dining areas, and 4,275 square feet on one story, built in 1960 and sitting on 0.37 acres.

The updates include new windows, roof, kitchen, floors, fixtures, lighting, doors, trim, landscaping, privacy fence, high-efficiency HVAC systems, and tankless water heater. So practically everything. It also created a contemporary feel with sleek finishes, clean lines, and lots of natural light. Love the kitchen with its white European-style cabinetry, large center island, walk-in pantry, high-end appliances, and farm sink. Other appealing house features include security cameras, a media room with separate equipment closet, large master closet and gorgeous ensuite, and “connected home” ready technology.

This home was listed Oct. 13, 2017, by Noe De Leon with Keller Williams Realty Plano for $1,080,700, reduced to $1,065,000.

Open house: Sunday, March 18, 3:30-5 p.m.

The original 1920’s Tudor-style houses in the central Dallas neighborhood of Delmar Heights are on the small side. But a big renovation added a second story, garage, and a lot of square footage to the Tudor at 5911 Goodwin Ave. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living areas, two dining areas, and 2,829 square feet on two stories, built in 1928 and fully remodeled in 2009.

Other improvements include upgrading foundation, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler system, and HVAC. The owners also opened up the kitchen to the family room and breakfast room to make a great entertaining space. Hardwood floors unite the main level while tons of windows and updated lighting make it bright. An oversized master suite upstairs has a beautiful marble bathroom with a soaker tub, dual sinks, separate shower, and walk-in closets. Perhaps one of the biggest selling points of this house is its location, only two blocks to the fun and food of Greenville Avenue or to Tietze Park, and a short drive to White Rock Lake.

This home was listed March 13 by Paul Carper with Dallas City Center Realtors for $639,000.

Open house: Sunday, March 18, 2-4 p.m.

A lot of the new construction houses in DFW are in the luxury market, so it’s a pleasant surprise to find the house at 1222 S. Edgefield Ave. near West Claredon Drive and South Edgefield Avenue in Oak Cliff. This bungalow-inspired home is brand new with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,880 square feet on one story.

The price may be under $400K, but the design look like a million bucks, from a waterfall quartz island in the kitchen and vaulted ceiling to contemporary geometric chandeliers and custom Shaker-style cabinetry. Oversized windows keep the interiors bright and hardwood floors run throughout the generously sized spaces. A luxe master ensuite bath has a gorgeous clawfoot tub, oversized shower, double vanity, and walk-in closet.

This home was listed March 9 by Landon Burke with Dave Perry-Miller InTown for $379,000.
