From the Dallas Builders Association

The State of the Industry Summit, presented by Zillow Group, will feature NAHB CEO Jerry Howard, Metrostudy Regional Director Paige Shipp and Zillow Group Insights Director Mary Kaye O’Brien. The Summit, will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 9 a.m. (doors open at 8:30) until 11:30 a.m. at Venue Forty|50 in Addison.

As the chief executive of NAHB, Jerry Howard’s leadership ensured that housing remained a priority in recent tax legislation. Howard continues to lead NAHB’s advocacy efforts through contentious times on Capitol Hill. NAHB recently scored key victories on regulatory reform, helped reduce the rising cost of lumber and assisted property owners facing regulatory overreach at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Paige Shipp is one of the leading housing analysts in the Dallas area. Thousands of residential construction professionals and the Dallas BA itself rely on her insights. As a founding member of the Zillow Group’s Insights team, Mary Kaye brings insights to life in a way that inspires and informs all aspects of the business. She has more than 30 years of experience helping companies create holistic views of their customers and brands.

Shipp and O’Brien will have a first of its kind discussion on the latest consumer trends in the Dallas area. They will take a close look at who is buying, what new home consumers want and how to increase your reach in 2019 and beyond.

The cost is $20 for Dallas Builders Association members and $30 for non-members. StrucSure Home Warranty will provide breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m.
