Some houses hit you over the head with their coolness. Like a real punch in the brain with the popped collar, but in this case the collar is shrubs because hello, we’re talking about houses

Then there are other houses that are low key cool. A little unassuming at first, until you really get into it.

The house located at 7307 Spring Valley Road is of the second variety. On the exterior it’s a really cool house. Nice little roof line, quite pleasant circle drive with a killer wraparound privacy fence of the horizontal variety. Plus the house is set back from the road so it feels like a little compound. I mean, we all love neighbors, but neighbors AND a big lot AND privacy? YES PLEASE.

The thing is, in the front of the house, that fence is wrapped around a courtyard that has a pool!! Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International’s Brookelyn Vawter called it out specifically as having that 1960s Palm Springs vibes. It does. And there’s a covered cabana with a service bar.

Vawter went on to explain there are several outdoor entertaining spaces around the house. Like three total. The pool, as we’ve mentioned, a private deck off the primary bedroom and then one massive backyard. It’s a corner lot so HELLO, extra massive.

Inside the house, there’s a sunken living room with a see-through fireplace. Okay, fact check, it’s not a TRUE sunken living room, it’s more of a multi-level house which just adds to the awesome.

Other features to oogle? Clerestory windows – and just LOTS of windows in general – a solid wood double front door that looks original and it loaded with PIZAZZ, some really unique light fixtures and black galaxy granite that’s pretty timeless.

Load on top of that this one’s located in North Dallas in Northwood Hills, an incredible little pocket of homes on mostly half acre lots, it’s a done deal. With that North Dallas address comes access to just about anywhere so snag this one while you can. It was recently reduced to $719,000 and that feels REAL good for a five-bedroom, four and one-half bathroom home that’s leisurely spreads out across 3,522 square feet.

Brooke Vawter of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International has listed 7307 Spring Valley Road for $719,000.
