If you’ve never heard of Capella Park, finding its white-picket fenced environs might seem like the answer to families (or even downsizers) that are looking for both affordability and a picturesque neighborhood but don’t want to sacrifice a shorter commute to downtown and other Dallas amenities.
Located near the Mountain Creek neighborhood, the master-planned community is just off West Kiest Boulevard between Mountain Creek Parkway and Spur 408, and adjacent to Dallas Baptist University, The Potter’s House, and more. It’s in Duncanville ISD, but has a Dallas address.
It was this listing at 3724 Prague Mews that first caught our eye and directed us to check out Capella Park.
Situated on a corner lot, on the outside, it looks like a charming (if smallish) traditional home. “Don’t let its size fool you,” said James Farias with Dave Perry-Miller InTown.
And his warning is a wise one. With multiple skylights and tons of windows, plus 12-foot ceilings, this 1,503 square foot home feels large, despite its smaller footprint, thanks to natural light, plenty of vertical space, and an open layout.
A generous master suite has a large walk-in closet, and a master en-suite. The other two bedrooms and the second bathroom also feel substantial.
