Downtown Design Review Board, DFW Inc and Trinity River Vision Authority Continue Enthusiastic Support for Residential Condo Project
FORT WORTH, TX (April 3, 2018) The Fort Worth City Council today unanimously approved the zoning for The Worth, the downtown 30-story luxury residential condominium tower.
The Worth, which faces W. Bluff and is bounded by N. Henderson Street, Mills Street, and W. Peach Street, will provide an iconic entrance to downtown via the new bridge to be built on Henderson. The Worth will offer unparalleled, high-rise living with sweeping generous balconies affording commanding, panoramic views of downtown Fort Worth, the Museum District, Trinity River and Panther Island, bringing new residential owner-stakeholders and a much-anticipated luxury tower to downtown Fort Worth.
Civic supporters have emphasized that The Worth will be a welcome addition to the area, built on the edge of the Panther Island development and downtown Fort Worth adding vitality to the area.
The City Council vote follows the conceptual support by the Fort Worth Downtown Design Review Board (DDRB) on March 1 of a request by the developer, Zamco Properties LLC, for an increase in massing and form for The Worth.
Downtown Fort Worth Inc and the Trinity River Vision Authority, which is responsible for Panther Island, continue their enthusiastic support.

Granger of the Trinity River Vision Association, The Worth development team is ready to move forward. This unanimous City Council vote will allow us to finalize our design plans and construction bids. We will announce an estimated groundbreaking date in the near future,” said Robert A. Zamorano, President, Zamco Properties, LLC, developer of The Worth.
“The validation by the City Council and these important civic entities reinforces our belief that The Worth will answer the city’s demand for a luxury condominium project.
