We are absolutely thrilled to feature Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty Vice President Gia Marshello today. Why? Well, besides the fact that she’s just about the nicest person on the planet, she’s also immensely successful and absolutely down-to-earth at the same time. How is that possible? Seriously, we want to know! A native of New Jersey, Marshello now lives in Lakewood and is loving it, though a second home in Aspen might be in her future (hey, we don’t blame you!).

Gia’s great attitude and service-oriented work philosophy reminds us a lot of Jeff Lindigrin with Great Western Home Loans. What has your lender done for you lately? Find out what you’re missing by calling Jeff Lindigrin today. And don’t forget to stay tuned to Jeff’s Saturday radio show 4 p.m. every Saturday on KLIF 570 AM.

Jump to find out more about lovely Gia!

daltxrealestate.com: So, where are you from?

Gia Marshello: Jersey City, New Jersey

CD: So, how did you get into real estate? What’s your specialty?

GM: A good friend and family Realtor suggested real estate because I am very detailed, organized and dedicated to my clients.  I also love working with people.

CD: How do you stay sharp in a challenging market?

GM: Knowledge is power.  I stay up to date with trends in real estate though seminars, newspapers, economic forums, and Builder Association meetings. Experience and expertise comes from these venues.

CD: Where is home for you in Dallas?

GM: Lakewood

CD: And you drive a … let me guess, Range Rover?

GM: No — my version of a Porsche Carrera — a Volvo xc60.

CD: What’s your favorite ‘hood in Dallas and why?

GM: I love many ‘hoods for a variety of reasons. Lakewood: It’s eclectic.  Deep Ellum and Oak Cliff: Great food. It’s just not possible to pick a ‘hood as there are so, so many great neighborhoods!

CD: What was your best sale?

GM: 6800 Lakewood Boulevard.  2.5 acres in the heart of Lakewood.  The former Ray Hubbard Estate.

CD: Likewise, what was your most challenging or memorable transaction?

GM: 6800 Lakewood Boulevard again.  This was a one-of-a-kind experience, and I will always be grateful for this opportunity

CD: Tell us: What was the most interesting thing to happen to you while working with a client?

GM: It was an agent to meet showing and the seller was getting out of the shower. I didn’t realize she was home!

CD: How quickly have you ever turned a house?

GM: Actually, two hours!

CD: How much did you sell last year?

GM: I would prefer not answering. Our business is so competitive.

CD: What words of wisdom do you often share with clients?

GM: This is a sellers’ market, however buyers and sellers need to be “reasonable.”  I set expectations accordingly.

CD: If you ever change careers for an encore you’ll…

GM:  Do catering.  I have a passion for entertaining!

CD: Do you have a second home? If so, where?

GM: I don’t have a second home, but if I could, it would be in Aspen, Colo.
