Junius Heights Historic Home Tour

In its 15th year, the Junius Heights Historic Home Tour will deliver arts and crafts and classic cars on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The event will include a living history tour at Swiss Avenue’s renowned Aldredge House on the day of the tour, as well as a homage to the Age of The Automobile. Each tour stop will have a classic car perched outside to pay tribute to Jesse Illingsworth, who drove the first automobile in Dallas in 1898 and whose home will be on the tour.

We’d be remiss not to mention a few tour teasers.

One tour home that is featured in this year’s tour was also featured in last year’s Restoration Tour and is now fully restored. Will you recognize it? Another tour home was recently on the AIA tour. One tour homeowner recently won the coveted State Fair of Texas Blue Ribbon for the quilt she lovingly made that depicts each of the neighboring homes on their street. Don’t miss seeing this amazing piece of artwork that will be on display in their home!

Enjoy a full day of live music and performances by local groups and schools and peruse amazing goods from local artisans and vendors at the Arts & Crafts Fair at Munger Park. Please join us for a full day of festivities!

The 15th annual Junius Heights Historic Home Tour and Arts & Crafts Fair will run from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023. Pre-sale tickets are $25, available for purchase at JuniusHeights.org. Day-of-event tickets are $30. Tickets and the Arts & Crafts Fair will be located at Munger Park [2300 Junius St, Dallas, TX 75214]. Current and new Junius Heights Historic District members will receive a $5 discount on tickets.

New to This Year’s Tour

Since Junius Heights is the largest historic district in Dallas, tour organizers are offering complimentary golf cart shuttles between the Junius Heights tour homes and the Arts & Crafts Fair for your convenience.
