The John Zimmerman Group has come up with a fool-proof way to get a little holiday shopping done, check out Fort Worth’s Magnolia West community, and even catch the Texas-OU Big 12 Championship this Saturday, all in the same place.
The Realtor, who is with Compass, has planned a progressive event that will allow visitors to move from home to home in Fort Worth’s new gated neighborhood adjacent to Shady Oaks Country Club and Westworth Park. The event will run Saturday, Dec. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a wine tasting at 201 Magnolia Lane at 3 p.m., hosted by Napa Valley winemaker Modus Operandi Wine.
Bites will be courtesy Ellerbe Fine Foods, Joe Riscky’s Barbeque, Lettuce Cook, Campisi’s, and Lonesome Dove (each home will feature a different popular Fort Worth restaurant), and holiday cocktails will also be served.
You can shop local favorites like Lola + Lina, Thrive Apothecary, Brogue Canyon, Antebellum bags and luggage, Sugar Brown’s Sweet Treats, Good Gift Delivered, and The Mercantile.
And just in case you were worried you’d have to miss the Red River Rivalry, Part Two, Zimmerman says not to fret. “We will be showing the Texas vs OU Big 12 Championship game so you won’t miss a thing,” he said.
Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots to make the holiday season brighter for a child.
