You know how the world is a little bleak right now? Okay, like majorly bleak? And you didn’t really need a reminder, but I just gave you one because apparently, I’m a jerk?

Well, here’s a little feel good something that’s coming up that we can all look forward to.

Starting July 10 and running through July 26, the 25th Annual Dallas CASA Parade of Playhouses will appear at NorthPark Center. And yeah, we’re advertising it a bit early, but dang it, we all need this one.

If you’re not familiar with the Parade of Playhouses or haven’t religiously read every single Daltxrealestate.com post over the past couple of years, here’s a crash course.

Every year, local builders and architects – and we’re just going to throw it in here, dreamers – get together to create a series of jaw-dropping, one-upping, who-can-rule-the-backyard-kingdom playhouses, available for raffle at NorthPark Center. This year there’s a beach house, a mini Parkland and a garden-themed Harvest House.

All the proceeds benefit Dallas CASA which is an incredible organization of volunteers that help advocate for children in the protective care of the state. How so? Here so. As a CASA volunteer (which we ALL can be!!), you show up to court and basically help look out for these very deserving kids.

SO, in a time where we’re all standing around feeling like there has to be SOMETHING we can do, here it is and it’s right in front of you.

Through the raffle you can not only win an awesome playhouse, but also support a super amazing cause.

Plus you don’t even have to break into your piggy bank to help out. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. That’s one whole free ticket and it’s worth it. Take your tickets and put them in the raffle for your favorite design and you could win.

If you’d like to see these amazing creations in person, head to NorthPark, mask on, during regular business hours which are currently 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Or you can also join the virtual parade online at dallascasa.org.

And don’t forget, you can also ALSO be a volunteer.
