The annual Dallas Builder Show will include a panel on what’s next for the housing market featuring Fred Balda, Jeff Meyers, and Gary Rae.

What’s Next for the Dallas Housing Market?
Where are we in the housing cycle (on the way up, on the way down, right at the top)?
Will we see any relief from skyrocketing land prices?
Is there an end in sight for the ongoing labor shortage in the Dallas area?

All of these questions will be answered during the opening session of the Dallas Builders Show. The panel discussion will feature Jeff Meyers, president of Meyers Research, Gary Rae, area president of M/I Homes, and Fred Balda, president of Hillwood Communities. Moderated by Phil Crone, executive officer of the Dallas Builders Association, Meyers, Balda, and Rae will discuss the state of the local housing marketing and what it has in store for 2017.

The Dallas Builders Association will have several mini education sessions going on in their booth throughout the show:

Dallas BA Relocation Portal – Learn about the new Dallas Builders Association website being utilized by Relocation Management Companies handling major moves to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Marketing Without Money – Jeff Crilley, president of Real News Public Relations, will be on hand sharing secrets to getting good news stories that even seasoned PR pros don’t know.
Learn How to Reach Your Full Learning Potential – Howard Berg, the world’s fastest reader and speed learning expert, will help attendees overcome the challenges of today’s information-rich work environment and demonstrate techniques to help you rise to the top of your profession.
Two Things Every Builder & Developer Should Know – Wholesale changes have arrived for postal service delivery and building energy codes. Learn how these two must-know items impact your business and how to avoid costly mistakes.

Enjoy all that and so much more at the Dallas Builders Show this Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Plano Centre. Tickets, which are available at the door, are $10 for Dallas Builders Association members, $30 for non-exhibiting Associate members, and $40 for the public. All proceeds benefit Operation Finally Home, an organization that helps provide mortgage-free homes to our nation’s combat-wounded veterans and the official charitable partner of the Dallas BA. Find out more about Operation Finally Home and the impact it makes in the lives of wounded veterans and their families here.
