Just a titch over $300,000, this house is a lot of fun.

The current owners are an architect and a middle school principal and they like to entertain. Which is why the parking lot next door comes in handy. Plus NO NEIGHBORS. Neighbors are great and everything, but what if you could only have them on one side? And then basically your very own valet on the other? Kind of a dream, huh.

Of course, this house fronts to Easton Road which isn’t ideal, but it’s priced accordingly. And what it lacks in non-major road facing, it makes up for in cool character.

Like we said, one half of the owners is an architect and he’s added some special touches like a barn door in the foyer. But not just any barn door, this one doubles as a work of art and it slides behind the bench, too. HANDY!!

They also nailed that front door color and added accent walls aplenty inside. The original hardwoods are a nice touch too. Let’s put that in more modern terms — we’re not mad at ‘em.

The kitchen is open and remodeled from the original. Is it the most up to date? No, it’s not, but that’s where your imagination comes in. This kitchen can be whatever you want it to be and it’s a few quick cosmetic swaps. Okay, ceramic tile flooring is NOT fun to replace, but you know what’s another solution? RUGS. Throw some down and suddenly that neutral palatte has a pop. The three-quarter wainscotting on the walls teams up with the shaker style cabinets to create a modern look.

There’s even undermount wine glass storage and hello, a wine fridge. Now if that’s excluded it’ll be really sad we pointed it out. The current owners have also done a nice job of adding modern ceiling fans in every room.

The bathroom tile looks original or at the very least a parody of the original, but the dark wood cabinets look fresh and refaced. They removed the door to the primary closet because at some point, there’s just too many doors. WE GET IT.

And that primary bathroom? Again, updated!! And also again, not 100% to today’s style, but it’s open and spacious and that frameless glass is certainly all the rage.

Out back there’s a covered patio and a pretty generous yard. Plus the driveway has an automatic gate to make the outback even bigger.

Top it all off with an attached two-car garage and this is really a pretty fabulous find.

If you’d like to take a look at 443 Easton, all three of the bedrooms, two bathrooms and dual living areas, give Coldwell Banker’s Jason Castro a call.
