It’s all happening in Frisco, and the real estate market shows no signs of slowing down.

Universal Parks & Resorts and the City of Frisco announced last week that a one-of-a-kind family theme park is proposed for a 97-acre site on the Fields Development along Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway.

Some heard the announcement and thought about taking their kids to Universal Studios. We heard it and thought, “Now’s the time to buy a home in Frisco.”

While the development of Universal Studios, Fields Frisco, PGA Headquarters, and even the new H-E-B grocery store could result in increasing home values, there are still plenty of Frisco homes in all price ranges waiting for a new owner.

Three special Frisco homes are featured in this edition of daltxrealestate.com Open Houses of the Week.

Teeing Up an Open House

The $3 million home at 8 Saint Andrews Court was Frisco before Frisco was cool.

Built in 1989 on the Stonebriar Country Club Golf Course, this home is the epitome of spacious luxury — and the place long-lost friends will want to stay when they visit the tourist attractions nearby.

Featuring four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and 6,405 square feet, the home has a dramatic foyer with a floating iron staircase, exotic wood and marble flooring, and Italian marble counters.

Warm up on a chilly night near one of five fireplaces. There are four living areas, two dining areas, a wine cellar, library, and a game room.

The kitchen boasts top-of-the-line appliances. Four wet bars and a coffee bar are strategically placed throughout the home. The luxurious master suite offers a sitting area, fireplace, marble bath, dry sauna, retractable closet racks, and direct access to an outdoor living space.

The backyard is an outdoor sanctuary with a view of the 17th green. Relax on the covered patio with surround-sound tunes, two pools, a spa, fire bowls, and a built-in grill.

Panther Creek Palace

There’s a spacious two-story abode just five miles from the Universal Studios site at 12512 Godfrey Drive.

Nestled in The Dominion at Panther Creek neighborhood in the A-rated Frisco school district, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home is on an 8,276-square-foot lot with a huge backyard.

High, two-story ceilings grace the entry and living room, and the first-level office has its own full bath and closet.

Built in 2008, the $805,000 home features an eat-in kitchen and a private, secluded guest suite perfect for long-term visitors.

Two of the three upstairs bedrooms have Jack-and-Jill bathrooms with private vanities. A large game room is wired for surround sound, and the two-car garage also has a sound system.

Realtor Kimberly Mullins with Keller Williams North Country is hosting an open house from 9 to noon Saturday, Jan. 21.

Open House on Alfa Romeo Way

Built in 2003 in the Grayhawk master-planned community, the east-facing home at 12465 Alfa Romeo Way is a perfect spot for a family looking to put down roots.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home features hardwoods, a media room, and a privacy fence with automatic gate.

The centerpiece of the $659,000 house is the kitchen — spacious and functional with updated stainless steel appliances, double ovens, a gas cooktop, granite counters, a butler’s pantry, and tons of custom cabinets.

Diners can enjoy a meal in the breakfast nook, formal dining room, or in the living area in front of a cozy fireplace.

The secluded primary bedroom includes a walk-in closet, an ensuite bath with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and the secret to a happy marriage: dual sinks.

The media room has custom risers for a unique cinematic experience and is wired for sound and projection. The backyard has an extended covered patio for gathering with family or guests.

Realtor Jason Aune with Keller Williams North Country is hosting an open house from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21.
