We have written about Darling Home’s Austin Waters because we are, quite frankly, obsessed, and 2244 Longwood Drive is a great example why. Here we have a Darling Austin Waters Villa, a garden home on less than one quarter acre not too terribly far out of the loop. For $389,900 we are getting oh so much: 2529 square feet, three bedrooms, three full and one half bath, even a game room with a wet bar.
The master is up with a big, beautiful bath (I kind of wish it had a tub, because I am such a tub queen, but I understand there is one down the hall) and there is a bedroom down with a full bath. This master even has a private study adjacent! There are soaring ceilings, quality finishes, wood floors (not kidding, not everywhere but where it counts) and just look at that pretty kitchen gleaming away with custom granite and stainless appliances.
This home was on the market and sold pronto last May for $349,900 and now, naturally, given our hot hot market, it has pulled in some appreciation. I just don’t understand why builders can not build homes like this everywhere at this price point.
