America’s Sweetheart Sandra Bullock Lists Luxe Hollywood High-Rise

We all know Sandra Bullock as one of those celebrities we’d love to hang out with. By Hollywood standards, she’s approachable, real, unpretentious. But we Texans have a special affinity. After filming Hope Floats in Smithville—a town of 3,500 on the banks of the Colorado River—the actress rented out her Hollywood Hills home and headed to Austin.

At the time, writer Skip Hollandsworth penned a 1998 piece for Texas Monthly calling Bullock “feisty, quirky, flirtatious, and always utterly disarming.” Fast forward 20+ years. In the past two decades, America’s sweetheart movie star has amassed an impressive real estate portfolio — including a celeb-pedigreed 1,759-square-foot unit in Los Angeles’s star-studded Sierra Towers. Asking price: $4.495 million.
