Last week, I started designing the mythical 2020 Quarantine Dream Home.
Taking interesting and unique features from previously showcased Tarrant County Tuesday homes, we are designing the ultimate home to be socially distanced.
As the “Great Quarantine of 2020” continues (and no end yet in sight) we continue to “build” the Quarantine Dream Home. Remember — if you can find or think of rooms and features that need to be included, do not hesitate to contact me with suggestions. Let’s have some fun!
Bring the Mountain Home
In August of 2019 we found quite a surprise upon entering the home at 2885 Oakbriar Trail in the gated Fort Worth neighborhood of Stonegate. The home, filled with beautiful finishes, views, a relaxing swimming pool, and indoor gym, also has an indoor rock climbing wall!

Relax and Enjoy the View
Maybe we should take the whole social distancing to another level. What if six feet of separation should be 60 feet? Maybe the Quarantine Dream Home should be located a little further away from germs and stores. Maybe we just need to relax and enjoy the view.

For a relaxing porch with beautiful West Texas views we will head to Brock, TX, and The Running Horse Ranch located at 851 Red Bank Road.
This home and property has a peaceful easy feeling that will quell any quarantine anxiety or trepidation. It’s also a great place to kick back on a spring evening and enjoy a pitcher of the trendy quarantini (shaken, not stirred).

Puttering About

I love this home. The home at 224 Clementine Court caught my eye from the very first time I wrote about it in 2018. So many things in this home just speak to me.

The inside of the home is clean and fresh. The materials are trendy and hip. The layout is open and airy with plenty of windows, vaulted ceilings, relaxing areas, and of course a putting green!
Golf might roar back into vogue as the ultimate quarantine sport … don’t need others around, not a lot of stinky equipment to house germs, and it’s easy to stay far away from others while playing!
Plus, 224 Clementine Court has a private chipping and putting green on artificial grass in lieu of a backyard. Not only can you work on your golf game but you don’t have to mow or weed it to maintain it! That’s a win-win!
More to come …
Just as the quarantine mandate doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, neither is the Bow Tie Realtor and Tarrant County Tuesday. Next week we will continue to put the Quarantine Dream Home together bit-by-bit until we have created a masterpiece.
Stay tuned…stay safe
