It’s almost August and yet I’ve already found my Favorite Fort Worth Home for 2018.  Guess that’s going to spoil my year-end blog, but I can’t help it.

Drumroll please…..

Seth Fowler’s 2018 Favorite Fort Worth Home is … 224 Clementine Court in the new gated community of Rivercrest Bluffs in The River District of Fort Worth.

What?!  How can I already deem a home the winner of my prestigious end-of-the-year awards and it’s only August (nearly).

Let Me Count The Ways

For starters, this home of 3,792 square feet, designed in the uber-popular modern farmhouse style simply looks the part.  It’s clean and sleek on the outside with white painted brick, real wood plank siding, large windows, and a standing-seam roof.

224 Clementine Court surrounds an artificial grass putting green on three sides of the home – no lawn work!

Collison Design Group of Fort Worth was the architect of 224 Clementine Court.  The builder for the project was Ramsey & Shaw Builders.  The home was completed in 2017.

I really love how they white washed the flagstone retaining wall in the front of the home to give it an extra splash of charm and character.  Kudos to the developer, James R. Harris Partners, for allowing a resident to tweak a uniform feature to make the setting look unique.

It only gets better as you enter 224 Clementine Court.

Floors Matter

Upon entry you will notice that the entire home has quarter-sawn, white oak, wide-plank floors.  They are lightly stained so they have a pop of gray and white colors and give the home a rustic (but not too rustic) look-and-feel.

Wide quarter-sawn, white oak, wide-plank floors throughout home make an impact on entire feel and flow of home.

Whether in the open kitchen, half bathroom with floor-to-ceiling white penny tile, hallway, on stairs or upstairs, having the same flooring throughout makes a fantastic impact.

No Uppers, No Problem

Continuing with the minimalist, sleek, and crisp look of 224 Clementine Court, the kitchen has no, nada, zip, zilch upper cabinets — and it doesn’t need them.

No upper cabinets, still plenty of storage – allows for backsplash to ceiling and very open feel

What a novel concept.  Why does a kitchen have to have upper and lower cabinets?  I get that storage and space is needed, but this kitchen has plenty of custom cabinetry and isn’t a huge kitchen.  I vote others should consider no upper cabinets when designing their kitchen!

The master bathroom also has no upper cabinets, so all walls in the room are tiled to the ceiling.  It’s so refreshing and unique.  You have to be so careful when installing so much tile because one titch off and your grout lines will be wonky.

Windows, Windows, Windows Everywhere

I am told that the owners and architect of 224 Clementine Court wanted to have as many windows in the home as possible.  Allowing not only for natural light but spectacular views in Rivercrest Bluffs makes this home feel open and yet inviting.

I didn’t take the time to count all the windows in this home, but I’m sure the window budget was quite hefty during construction … and worth every penny.

There’s so much more to share about this home, but you’re just going to have to see it for yourself.  I’ll give you one last photo. This is the view of the Trinity River from the front porch of 224 Clementine Court.  Enjoy…

Remember – this home is 10 minutes from Downtown Fort Worth not 30 miles in the country!

This spectacular home, the best of this year (so far!), at 224 Clementine Court is listed by the dynamic duo of Ted and Ida Duwe-Olsen of Williams Trew Real Estate.  The home is listed for $1.35 million and is ready for the right buyers!

Well, that’s all from Tarrant County this week Dirty Readers.  Thanks for reading and following and sharing!  As always, if you have questions, comments or great ideas for a blog … hit me up!
