The sun porch on the front of 6332 Juneau is the perfect place to enjoy mornings, afternoons and evenings

With consistent design guidelines and standards, the homes of Ridgmar — many built in the late 1950s — are typically ranch-style homes on wide homesites with deep front setbacks.  Yards and trees are abundant in Ridgmar, making it a sought-after neighborhood for sure.

Because many homes are single-story ranches, they tend to have a low-pitched roofs, therefore making the ceiling height in many of the homes around eight or nine feet as the standard.

There is certainly nothing wrong with a low pitched roof or lower ceiling, however, many home buyers today are looking for higher ceilings to allow for more natural light and a bigger sense of space.
