Over the years, Dallas has seen its share of amazing architects. From Charles Dilbeck to Bud Oglesby and all those in between, so many distinct designers have left indelible marks on this unique city. In 2023, we’re lucky enough to welcome an all-new wave of visionaries. With an abundance of emerging communities and an ever-growing economy, Dallas is becoming an architect’s dream destination. One of the latest Dallas architects, Adriana Meyer, is making a huge splash in the beautiful Bluffview neighborhood.

For this week’s Inwood Home of the Week sponsored by Inwood National Bank, we’re excited to feature the next generation of architectural excellence with a home designed by Adriana Meyer. Listing agent Clifton Kessler with Allie Beth Allman & Associates has 8422 Craighill Drive coming soon for $1.75 million.

This five-bedroom new construction home is sure to become one of the most coveted properties in the area. Every corner of this estate boasts smart design and sophisticated features, Clifton tells us. Therefore, vaulted ceilings, real white oak flooring, quartz countertops, and custom designer lighting are all part of the package.

Then, wow factors like a floating metal staircase, hidden pantry, and enormous ensuite bathroom with Italian tile take this home up a few notches.

“The home is very unique,” said Kessler. “Adrianna has this distinct style, which is on display throughout. The finishouts are all of the highest quality, and you can tell just how much thought went into the placement of each component.”

Aside from being an incredible architect, Adrianna is also a seasoned interior designer. Therefore, she has an edge in planning comprehensive designs accounting for every angle.

“Sometimes you work with architects who are only concerned with the basic build of the house and not how it’s going to become livable,” said Kessler. “With Adriana, she’s looking at it from a holistic view.”

Of course, there are other factors that influence the design of her homes.

“We’ve been developing a lot in this neighborhood,” said Adriana. “And I really like to add variety in the communities we work in. Therefore, we chose a transitional style for this home. The floor plan is still very modern and open. We also included lots of storage and floor-to-ceiling cabinets.”

While drafting her designs, Adriana also looks to the future of the project. She doesn’t just want a home that’s suitable to today’s style but one that will be enjoyed for years to come.

“We try to keep it trendy but also something that’s not going to age very quickly,” said Adriana. “Sometimes we get so trendy that a year later it’s kind of passé. I wanted to create something that’s modern and timeless. I wanted to design something that allows the residents to enjoy it for years to come.”

If this sounds like home to you, contact Clifton Kessler with Allie Beth Allman & Associates to be among the first to see this home when it goes active. He has 8422 Craighill Drive coming soon for $1.75 million.
