Investment Firm Introduces 10K-Home Development Northwest of Fort Worth

The $3.5 billion Reunion development will have its first homes to see in fall 2022.

When completed, the 10,000-home Reunion master-planned community northwest of Fort Worth will be one of the largest residential communities around.

Yep. Ten-thousand homes. That’s like starting a housing community the size of Greenville or Midlothian from scratch.

But instead of decades of development, the timeline for Reunion is rather short. In 2019, Dallas-based PMB Capital Investments purchased 3,600 acres of the old Rolling V Ranch near the intersections of Texas 114 and U.S. 287 in Wise County. Last week, PMB introduced the $3.5 billion master-planned development. Construction starts soon with the first homes ready in fall 2022.

Reunion‘s first phase will offer single-family homes ranging in price from the $250,000s to $600,000s. Lots will vary from 40-foot cottage-style lots to 70-foot estate lots with home designs from builders American Legend Homes, Perry Homes, and UnionMain Homes.

“We’re excited to officially introduce Reunion,” PMB Capital partner Peter Pincoffs said in a news release. “When we purchased this land, we imagined a community that would meet the demand for reasonably priced single-family homes.

“Now as we begin construction, we’re happy to have not only made that a reality, but we’ve created a space that encourages homeowners to embrace the exceptional features that this native landscape has to offer. Reunion is a truly unique setting in Texas.”

PMB plans kayak launches, sporting fields, playgrounds, pavilions, parks, walking trails, and an amphitheater anchored by a community base camp with its own clubhouse, pool, and fitness center.

The development will be built between the cities of Newark and Rhome. Reunion is near Texas Motor Speedway, Alliance Town Center, and Tanger Outlet Mall. PMB plans commercial and retail development, multifamily communities, and active-adult living projects around Reunion.
