If you’re surfing through HGTV looking for a Dallas connection, check out No Demo Reno with Jenn Todryk of Burleson. The first season wrapped up filming in Dallas recently. But don’t worry, HGTV has the 10-episodes recorded. You can start the binge at 5 a.m. June 7 on HGTV. To get to know Todryk better, check her social media accounts where she shares her life with her husband Mike Todryk, who operates Armor Coffee Co. in The Village at Allen.

Interior Designer on the Hunt in Dallas

We all tune into House Hunters when buyers eye a move to Dallas-Fort Worth: In a recent episode (Designing a Dallas Dream Condo) on the latest season, a single, interior designer is tired of renting and is looking for her first home in Dallas. She’s looking for a modern condo with a balcony that has all the amenities, and it has to be near downtown. Watch HGTV listings or search season 201 and episode 7.

Grass Rooftops Sales are Slow to Grow

Remember the unique development in Frisco that featured Texas native grass rooftops? The development looked intriguing, but sales on the 121-home, 56-acre project are slow. Only two have been sold and four more are in the design and price phases, Greg Barnes, CEO of India-based Total Environment USA, told the Dallas Business Journal.

Own Your Own Sports Complex For $5 Mil

Unless you’re Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Dončić, the market is limited on a $5 million estate on the market in west Houston. The estate features a full-sized indoor basketball court with bleachers, a pro-equipped gym, and hydrotherapy immersion tanks. It also has a pool and putting green. Better hurry. It’s under contract but still showing.

Darth Vader Sequels

We brought you the Darth Vader House in suburban Houston. It’s gotten a lot of attention, including Realtor.com listing it as this week’s most popular home, and a Texas Monthly writer getting a tour of the inside. Even Luke Skywalker, tweeting as Mark Hamil below, has a beef with the house that looks like his dad’s head.
