Walsh, a master-planned community located in west Fort Worth, will bring one- and two-story townhomes of four different architectural styles — modern farmhouse, Texas vernacular, transitional, and Tudor — to the neighborhood. Perry Homes unveiled the new townhome product types at Walsh on Thursday afternoon.
Akin to Light Farms in Celina and Frisco’s Phillips Creek Ranch, Walsh is a 7,200-acre community with 32+ miles of hike and bike trails, neighborhood parks, dog park, Imagination Playground, and demonstration gardens.

Sales professional Anita Breedlove said each townhome will boast beautiful finishes, large windows for natural lighting, and tall ceilings and rooflines.
“Street appeal will be gorgeous,” Breedlove said.
Though the homes have not yet been completed, they are being pre-sold, and there has been a favorable response to them thus far.

The one-story townhomes will be located near the waterfront of Walsh’s brand-new lake — available for all residents to use — which is expected to be completed in May.
The layout varies between 1,500 to 1,800 square feet, and the starting price is about $300,000.
Breedlove said the one-story townhome has been a perfect option for inquiring empty-nesters. Many applicants have come from condos in the downtown Fort Worth Cultural District.

The two-story townhomes — with spacious layouts of 1,900 to 2,500 square feet — are ideal for young professionals with families, she said. They will be located near the neighborhood’s Walsh Elementary. The starting price is about $340,000.
Breedlove said one of the most appealing parts of living in the Walsh townhomes is the maintenance-free lifestyle it provides. “Smart technology” is the standard for the townhomes, requiring less work inside the house, and for an additional HOA fee of $150 per month, the yard will be fully maintained.
In addition to these townhome-specific amenities, Walsh offers many amenities for all residents, including a state-of-the-art athletic club and resort-style pools.

Trails, playgrounds, and neighborhood parks have been placed throughout the Walsh townhomes community, and its Makerspace is loaded with a laser cutter, vinyl cutter, 3D printer, and wood- and metal-work equipment.
The local village market is stocked with a wide variety of food and beverage items, including beer and wine, and has a 24-hour fuel station. Additionally, the newest Cook Children’s pediatric facility is also on the property.
Upcoming projects include the new lake park with a beachfront and an overlook park, to be completed in July, which will have a 35-foot hilltop slide and rock-climbing.
