Now in its ninth year, the AIA Dallas Tour of Homes has become one of the most highly anticipated home tours. That’s mostly because these homes are selected by a jury of Dallas architects who know their stuff, so you see some of the most innovative shapes, spaces, and designs in this citywide home tour.

This year’s tour is no exception, with gorgeous homes from some of Dallas’ top firms and in some of the city’s most interesting locations.

“The homes selected for this year’s tour were meticulously reviewed, carefully deliberated and selected,” said Tour of Homes committee co-chair Daniel Day, AIA of Perkins and Will. “The homes represent innovative concepts, superior design elements and overall architectural excellence.”

We could not be more thrilled about the lineup, too, as the two-day, open-to-the-public tour will include NIMMO’s sustainable monolith in Urban Reserve, an extensively renovated midcentury ranch near White Rock Lake from Est. 11 Architecture, and the gorgeous and serene modern farmhouse on Durango from Todd Hamilton. You can see the other homes on tour right here.

If you’re ready to start planning, the Nov. 14-15 tour will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and tickets are on sale now for $25 both online and at the AIA Dallas and Dallas Center for Architecture(1909 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75201). Additionally, you can purchase tickets the weekend of the tour for $30, or you can cross your fingers and win one of three pairs of tickets we’ll be giving away right here on daltxrealestate.com.

Now, if you really want to kick things up a notch, you can get an exclusive tour of one very special home during the Premier party on Nov. 12. Find out more about the event and how to purchase tickets here.

Architects represented this year include: Marc McCollom, NIMMO, Stocker Hoesterey Montenegro Architects, PLLC, Est. 11 Architecture, David Benners Architecture, Todd Hamilton Architect, shipley architects, and smitharc architects.
