Ebby Halliday Opens Stunning New 12,000 Square Foot Southlake Office: Gorgeous!

After months of construction and design, Ebby Halliday’s new Southlake office opened with a grand celebration and ribbon -cutting Thursday morning that included a few dignitaries from the area. Southlake Mayor Pro-Tem Laura Hill, members of the Southlake City Council and representatives from the Southlake Chamber of Commerce all helped celebrate the grand opening of the brand-new Southlake real estate office Thursday morning.

The celebration included an official ribbon-cutting in the cold at 1575 E. Southlake Blvd., across from Southlake Town Square.

“This beautiful new office is built for the future,” says Ron Burgert, chief financial officer of the Ebby Halliday Companies. “Built from the ground up, it offers a superior location in the heart of Southlake and is a statement of our commitment to serving Tarrant County for many years to come.”

Ron even said he’s considering moving to Southlake! But that was before he scooted off to the Dave Perry-Miller & Associates company retreat at the Dallas Arboretum.

The finish out is smooth-as-sil contemporary by designer LaWanna Wood of Southern Accents Too. The new office replaces an existing 8,000 square-foot office where Ebby Halliday agents have officed since 1985.

“We are extremely happy with the way our new Southlake Office turned out,” says Southlake Sales Manager Carolyn Rosson, a dynamo who has been with Ebby for 34 years. “I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped bring this extraordinary new office to reality. Ebby Halliday has been part of the Southlake community for nearly 30 years and has distinguished itself as a valued partner for our clients and a leader in luxury real estate. We are so excited about the future of this great city.”

Carolyn was the hostess with the mostess to a huge crowd, dressed in a gorgeous white frock and jacket that was as warm and loving as she is.

“We’re proud of our commitment to this beautiful part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex,” said Mary Frances Burleson, president and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies. “We look forward to serving current and future residents in the manner they deserve for many years to come.”

My favorite part is the detailing that Carolyn Rosson personally directed: every square inch of the new office is sleek, functional, warm and relaxing. There is a huge agent training room with a floor-to-ceiling wall monitor screen. There is a Bistro — a kitchen with cafe tables for eating, drinking, complete with cell phone chargers (outlets) below each seat: Carolyn doesn’t want one of her agents to miss a call or potential sale! There are several client conference rooms, including one with a darling children’s play area. There are oceans of desks for agents, private offices for top agents, and of course Carolyn’s gorgeous office that is very Hollywood Glamour but also has a collage of photos behind her desk surrounding her very favorite word in the English language: JOY.

The details are down to the paper towels in the bathrooms (which are like private powder rooms!)

Carolyn has them embossed with an Ebby monogram. Ebby Halliday, who was NOT at the Thursday opening, loved them so much when she came to the groundbreaking last spring she stuffed a few in her pockets to take home. (Don’t you just love her?)

“She thought they were great,” says Carolyn. “I immediately shipped her a couple of boxes.”

I mean, after all, that monogram is HER!
